Educational Programs & Annual Seminar

FAPTP serves as an educational resource for pediatric hematology/oncology concerns, including cancer, hemophilia, and sickle cell disease. Our nationally-attended conference on childhood cancer and blood disorders “Advances in PediatricHematology/Oncology” is now in its 46th year.

The seminar provides continuing education for healthcare professionals and a forum to discuss treatment and supportive care issues with nationally renowned experts. Participants from outside of Florida consistently comprise more than half of the total attendance, demonstrating the national recognition of the seminar.

FAPTP Centers throughout Florida provide a variety of educational services in their communities as well. Their staff members provide education and support to patients, parents, medical professionals and the general public.
