Annual Seminar

November 6-7th, 2025

Our nationally-attended conference on childhood cancer and blood disorders, "Advances in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology", is now in its 48th year.

The seminar provides continuing education for healthcare professionals and a forum to discuss treatment and supportive care issues with nationally-renowned experts. Participants from outside of Florida consistently comprise more than half of the total attendance, demonstrating the national recognition of the seminar.

Statewide Patient Information Reporting System (SPIRS)

FAPTP has a unique statewide pediatric cancer registry that has been in operation since 1980 monitoring incidence and prevalence of childhood cancers.

Educational Programs

FAPTP serves as an educational resource for pediatric hematology/oncology concerns, including cancer, hemophilia, and sickle cell disease.

FAPTP Centers throughout Florida provide a variety of educational services in their communities as well. Their staff members provide education and support to patients, parents, medical professionals and the general public.

Research Initiatives

FAPTP collects data from member institutions to assist physicians and researchers in the development of epidemiologic studies, clinical trials, and cancer control protocols.
