Conference Objectives:

The Florida Association of Pediatric Tumor Programs is pleased to invite you to participate in our 36th annual educational seminar, "Advances in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology." The target audience is pediatric hematology/oncology nurses, social workers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals who work with pediatric hematology/oncology patients.

Registration Fees:

GENERAL SESSION FEES include program materials, continental breakfasts, lunch, poolside barbecue, and refreshment breaks.

Early Registration:
(Postmarked on or before October 1, 2013)

Healthcare Professionals: $250.00
Full-time Students*: $200.00

Late Registration:
(Postmarked on or after October 1, 2013)

Healthcare Professionals: $275.00
Full-time Students*: $225.00

*Letter from faculty advisor must accompany registration.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: Written cancellation of registration received in the FAPTP Central Office on or before October 11, 2013 will result in a refund less a $50 processing fee. After that date, no refund will be issued.

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION: You should receive confirmation of your registration by mail, fax or email.

Educational Programs and Annual Seminar

FAPTP serves as an educational resource for pediatric hematology/oncology concerns, including various cancers, hemophilia, and sickle cell disease. Our annual conference on childhood cancer and blood disorders is now in its 36th year. The seminar provides continuing education for healthcare professionals and a forum to discuss treatment and supportive care issues with nationally renowned experts. The seminar draws approximately 200 nurses and other health professionals annually. Participants from outside of Florida comprise half of the total attendance, demonstrating the national recognition of the seminar.

FAPTP Centers throughout Florida provide a variety of educational services in their communities as well. Their staff members provide education and support to patients, parents, medical professionals and the general public.
